Hey up all,

It's Beverley races on Saturday 8th July and wondered if anyone fancied going and making a day of it??

Main enclosure and grandstand is ?12 and you get access to all the main areas-but to be fair isn't really worth it. The picnic enclosure is ?3 but you don't get access to the main grandstand (not really a necessity as there's lots of areas you can go). In the picnic area you can take your own food and lots of beer! We've done this many times before and if you get set up early in a good spot you're guaranteed a good day!

If theres a big group of us we'll get a 10% discount off the entry prices.

We went last year and got the train and got money off entry with our train ticket and a ?3 free bet.

If anyone's interested let me know so i can get tickets etc sorted.

Sarah n Chris x

I've checked the timetable n don't think you've any games on that sat?

Also, if you get the train you get ?3 or ?4 off the entry to the grandstand.

It is a right laugh and it doesn't have to cost a fortune. For those who don't really gamble you can just watch and get pissed and those who want to have a flutter the betting starts from ?1 a bet.

If you are hard core (Wardy, Roddy) its a really good all day bender. We usually get there for about 1ish and the racing starts at 2. The last few times we left at the end (about 6 i think) and headed off into town to finish the day off with a few swift halves. . . . . well loads of beers and a minging kebab at the end.

Let us know and i will arrange everything for us.

You dress good, you look good. You look good, you wheel good. You walk into the locker room, the boys respect you. You walk into a room full of people, you get noticed. You walk into a club, and heads turn. You step out onto the ice, and you KNOW you run the show.

Yeah its a good crack momo, usually plenty of fit women knocking about at race courses as well.

It's the day/night before the world cup final as well, so could run over into a 2 day drinking session??

I'm up for it anyway.
