Glad you enjoyed it mate. Thats what the weekend is all about, getting together, having a good laugh and playing lots of hockey.

To be honest, when we had to play you for a second time I wasn't looking forward to it as you guy's really push us and its always close. Would have like a bit of an easier game but at the end of the day we are both good teams and it will always be that way.

How's the dude with the cut?

hi thanks bud from what if been told its broken from what i seen it was a bad hit nobody wanted all of that we were all tired when we were coming to hull all the bus got totally pissed out of there heads really funny then we all went out when we got to hull.  thats why we are all tired and to be honest some people were not bothered about the semi finals until we started playing good and we really wanted to win but if we did beat you i dont think we could do the semis you guys took it all out of us and me.

thanks mike

Sadley we didn't do a best . . . . . . this year, the only thing we did do was the fair play award which went to Sheffield if I remember correctly.

How did you find the set up with the new rules? After playing it a couple of times you do get used to it and it seemed to work.

at time it was hard to get used but we started to get into it and i started to like them until i seen a game grimsby and pasiley,  the ref called the penalty so he whistled for the person which is ok but the guy that got the penalty didnt hear the whistle and the ref whistled again and as soon as he blow his whistle pasiley scored.  that kick some shit up lol

thats the only rule i had a problem with but the rest were cool

Good to hear you "shandy drinkers" had a great time. I agree with you Tim, the game we played against you was very bruising but very enjoyable. Looking fwd to a re-match.

Hi Guys,

Brian here, #2 from Paisley - All I can say is a big thanks to the Cobras for inviting us back - one word described our weekend - Brilliant.

It was a great weekend of hockey and to be honest was the best one yet, not that I'm saying the previous 4 were not good but the addition of the Jonkers rules made it fast end to end hockey in all games.

All the teams looked like they were having fun.

All my guys loved it and would like all tournaments to try these Jonkers rules.

Having only 11 players took it's toll, we lost our legs on Sunday as we are not used to playing contact hockey (being from Scotland we are not allowed contact hockey - we are milk drinkers never mind the shandy), maybe the 2 late nights drinking and watching the Stanley Cup on Saturday didn't help us but it's not the winning that matters - it's about how drunk you can get. Grin

I fractured my finger on Sunday in the Semi V Grimsby blocking a slapshot - OUCH    I'm sure it was Belty Evil

Look forward to next year and if anyone wants us to come and play then get in touch - brian@paisleyblackhawks.com

Cheers

Brian
